These funky drops are individually crafted in borosilicate which is lighter and stronger than other types of glass, then tumbled in a handful of sand collected from Piha beach to get that soft, sea-glass look.
Isla Osborne started making glass as a part time creative adventure which has since developed into a passion for glass jewellery. Her work is a refreshing change in a market saturated by mass produced replicas. These elegant earrings are individually lampworked in glass and set in sterling silver findings. Light and easy to wear, they are perfect for lazy summer days. And because the findings are sterling silver (925), they won’t hurt your ears.
