Lauren’s current series of cast glass arches are inspired by fond childhood memories and offer the artist a way to explore colour combinations and patterns she sees in nature.

Inspired by wooden stackable toys, these cast glass arches are made to be both interacted with and admired as art objects.
The weight of cast glass and the introduction of light into each arch helps elevate this simple form into something special. The viewer is invited to play with light, translucency, reflection and form.
Take a moment to contemplate, create thoughtful formations and arrange how you like.
Please note: Each glass piece is handcrafted and will have slight variations in form and finish. Due to the casting process some small bubbles are to be expected.
