These pieces all utilise various types of Murrine, the main decorative glass technique I’ve utilizing in my work since the mid 1990’s as a way of creating pattern, mark making and language within the blown vessel form,

Microcosm series-These works are an attempt to create a new and infinitely more detailed cellular examination within the Murrine pattern. With finer detail within a more organic structure these patterns are a move away from the more regimented grid-like pattern.
