Green Cellular vessel-This piece is an example of crisp cellular Murrine pattern.
Over the years I keep returning to the natural environment as a source of inspiration.This piece is a continuation of the investigation into cellular detail and how that can be described using the Murrine technique.
These pieces all utilise various types of Murrine, the main decorative glass technique I’ve utilizing in my work since the mid 1990’s as a way of creating pattern, mark making and language within the blown vessel form.
