Based on symbolism and stories that offer an expression of the human need to connect to each other and our environment.
Raranga - Traditional weaving patterns are imbued with symbolism. The designs on a woven Māori cloak are an expression of spiritual meaning and ancestral whakapapa and knowledge. These glass pieces with their columns of woven colour and light play are an exploration and reference to interconnectedness and the underlying hidden order.
