User generated content explores the relationship between technology and the human body. UGC3 is a significant work developed from early sculptural ceramic forms, where the artist explores a flowing, organic style, of the human body. Although ethereal and magical, the material of this work is a simple affair; clay, borosilicate glass, and silicon. And yet the sophistication of their construction has been tirelessly and painstakingly tested, re-‐tested, broken down, explored and re-‐shaped. It is literately a representation of the moving form in space; encased in fleeting fragments of memory, transitory elements and fluid ideas. Glass is now an essential part of the technology we interact with. A transformation from ‘actual’ to ‘virtual’, an abstract translation of ‘reality’ to ‘perception’.
